Admissions Policy for the application process opening September 2021

The process for admitting your child to our fantastic school depends on the year they will start. For children who want to start during this academic year, the first thing you should do is contact our school office on 01254 886110, to arrange to speak with Mr Kennedy to see if there's space in the class you require. If there is space, it's advisable to have a look round our school. Once you've decided on moving your child to our school, a date will be agreed between your child's current school and St. Charles. A copy of the admissions policy for this academic year can be found above.

2021-2022

Parents were notified on Friday 16th April 2021 as to whether they've got a place to start at our school in September. If you missed the application process, you will need to contact the Pupil Access Team on 01254 220747 and they will be able to advise you. If you are not happy with the place you have been offered for the next academic year, please contact the Pupil Access Team on the number above.

If you weren't awarded a place at our school and would like to request a place, please contact the school office to see if any places are available. You may need to go through the appeals process if our new intake is over-subscribed. The appeal process has moved online this year and more information can be found on the LCC Website (see link below). Please contact the school office should you have any queries about this.

2022-2023

Admissions for children who turn 4 from September 2020 onwards opens on 1st September 2021. All parents applying for a place for their child will need to complete an online application form. This is available by clicking on the link below. The admissions policy for the 2022-2023 academic year can be found at the top of this page. If your child is a baptised catholic and you would like this acknowledged during the ranking process, you must fill out a Supplementary Information Form available from the school office or by clicking on the link below. Failure to complete this form will result in your child not being placed in the baptised catholic category.
